Terms of service

PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. By access to and use of the site of OCEAN QUEEN HONG KONG (Ocean Queen), you agree to these terms. If you are unable to understand or have any questions about these Terms, please contact us. You will be required to confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms before you submit an order to OCEAN QUEEN. Please note that these Terms are subject to change. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the services.

Order and Acceptance

Orders are subject to OCEAN QUEEN’s acceptance and may be refused at OCEAN QUEEN’s discretion, for example in cases where:

  • orders cannot be processed due to an error in information you have provided;
  • there is an error on the site relating to the products that you have ordered, i.e. an error relating to the price or description of the product as displayed on the site; or
  • the products that you have ordered are no longer available through the site.

After OCEAN QUEEN receives your order, you will receive an email order confirmation of your order. If you do not receive an email, contact us before you try to place another order for the same product. You will receive the final invoice and tentative delivery schedule, which confirmed your order has been accepted. If you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding OCEAN QUEEN’s order acceptance policy, or if you consider that your order was rejected in error, please contact OCEAN QUEEN.

Product Availability

OCEAN QUEEN will have the right, at any time, to make changes to information about products displayed on the site, for example, information about prices, descriptions or the availability of products and OCEAN QUEEN may do so without first giving you notice of the changes. OCEAN QUEEN will not, however, make any changes to the price, availability or description of any product after an order has been accepted.

Customer-initiated Order Cancellations and Changes

You cannot make changes to or cancel your order after your order has been processed.

Delivery

Most orders over $500 have free delivery. For order amount less than $500, there is $100 delivery charge. In order to maintain a consistently high level of service, there will be additional charges $10/order in some remote areas. For example: Shek-O, Big Wave Bay and Po Toi O etc, please contact us for more details. We don’t have delivery service in outlying islands (except Tung Chung). If you can’t be home to accept delivery and we cannot access the building or are refused entry by the building management, your goods will be returned to our warehouse. A delivery fee will have to be paid for redelivery on our next delivery day to your area.

Check Upon Delivery

Please check the contents of your order upon delivery as it's assumed your order has been fulfilled once the delivery order has been signed. As soon as OCEAN QUEEN has delivered the product to you, you will become responsible for it and for any loss or damage to it thereafter. If you do have an issue with our products or services after delivery has been accepted, please contact OCEAN QUEEN within 24 hours.

The product price is always the price indicated on the site when you place your order.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms will exclude or limit liability to you for fraud, death or personal injury or any other liability which the law states may not be excluded or limited. OCEAN QUEEN will not be liable to you under a contract for:

  • any loss of profit, loss of income, loss of business, loss of revenue or loss of goodwill;
  • any loss or corruption of or damage to data; or
  • any loss or damage which was not a reasonably foreseeable result of either breach of a contract or breach of legal duty of care.

General Terms

The contract for sales will be solely between you OCEAN QUEEN and is governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If any provision of a contract is not valid or legally enforceable, that term will be deleted and the remaining terms will not be affected.

Copyright

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of OCEAN QUEEN or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of OCEAN QUEEN, with copyright authorship for this collection by OCEAN QUEEN, and protected by international copyright laws. 

Personal Information

When you create your Ocean Queen membership account and place an order through the site, you will be providing Ocean Queen with your personal information. You agree Ocean Queen will use your personal information to process your order, delivery of the ordered products, and other limited purposes. Ocean Queen’s collection and use of your personal information will be carried out subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

Your Membership Account

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Ocean Queen reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
